|
Reed Jacobson is a senior
architect for Hitachi Consulting’s Business Intelligence practice.
He has more than 15 years experience in providing software applications
solutions to customers. Prior to working for Hitachi Consulting and Aspirity,
Reed ran his own consulting firm for eight years, and worked as a Software
Application Specialist for Hewlett Packard for 10 years. Reed developed
the Microsoft Official Curricula (MOC) three-day Multi-Dimensional Expressions
(MDX) course for SQL Server 2000. Reed is also the author of Excel Trade
Secrets for Windows, Microsoft Excel Visual Basic for Applications Step
by Step, Microsoft Excel Advanced Topics Step by Step, Microsoft Analysis
Services Step By Step and Office 2000 Expert Companion. He has given presentations
at TechEd and other Microsoft conferences and seminars and has created
several training videotapes and CD-ROMs for Microsoft Office and Visual
Basic.

| Paul Turley
|
Paul Turley has been architecting, managing and developing applications and business intelligence solutions for large and small businesses since 1992. He has developed custom database, BI and reporting solutions for many companies including Nike, Disney and Boeing. His expertise includes project lifecycle management, database modeling and design using SQL Server versions 6.0 through 2008, application development and user interface design using ASP.NET, and enterprise BI solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services, Integration Services and Analysis Services. He teaches, develops training courseware, speaks at industry conferences and has authored and co-authored several technical books. He has been a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) since 1996 and maintains certifications in software architecture and development, database administration (MCDBA) and project management methodologies (MSF & IT Project+.) He holds the current MCTS and MCITP certifications for SQL Server BI.

DJ has a Master of Business Administration from Portland State University, a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Florida State University., and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian from Florida State University.

Chris Leiter is a Senior Consultant and Training Specialist in the Training Services division of Hitachi Consulting, where he develops and delivers training content for Microsoft Business Intelligence (BI) solutions such as Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server, Microsoft SQL Server, and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server. Chris has over 14 years of experience in Information Technology, with a background in Systems and Network Administration. He has worked in a variety of industries including telemarketing, biometrics, and interactive entertainment. Chris holds many IT certifications and specializations such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP), and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundations. He has also been a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) since 2001. Chris is co-author of the book Beginning SQL Server 2005 Administration (Wiley, 2006), and author of the upcoming Beginning SQL Server 2008 Administration.
