This 5-day course focuses on writing advanced queries and code in SQL Server
2000 and 2005. In this course you will learn the details and capabilities of
T-SQL including: Understanding Query Logical Processing, Joins, Table Expressions
and Ranking Functions, Aggregating and Pivoting Data, TOP, APPLY, DML with Results,
Error Handling, Datatypes issues, Dynamic Execution, Data Modification, Tuning

Fernando G. Guerrero
is one of the founders of Solid Quality Learning. He has worked with SQL
Server since 1993, and for more than 20 years he has been designing information
systems, providing training and mentoring in many countries worldwide.
His teaching experience started in 1981 when he was a lecturer at the
Universidad Politécnica de Valencia,
followed by many international projects where mentoring was a key part
of his tasks, until he became a Principal Technologist and SQL Server
Product Consultant at QA plc., the leading
IT training and consulting company in the United Kingdom.
Fernando has presented at numerous conferences including TechEd Europe,
PASS, VBUG, VBITS, MCT Conference, SQL Server Magazine Live, and DevWeek.
Fernando is a Civil and Hydrologic Engineer, MCDBA, MCSE+I, MCSD, MCT,
a SQL Server MVP (Most Valuable Professional) and an INETA speaker. His
book "Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Programming By Example", from
QUE, was published in April 2001, and you can find his ".NET Operations
Guide" and his ".NET Deployment Guide" in TechNet.

Itzik Ben-Gan
is a SQL Server professional. He teaches, lectures, writes and consults
about SQL Server. He has been working with databases since 1992, and has
been focusing on SQL Server since 1998.
Itzik writes monthly columns in SQL
Server Magazine and in the T-SQL
Solutions Web site, and he co-authored the book Advanced Transact-SQL
for SQL Server 2000 (Apress, ISBN: 1893115828).
In 1999 he founded the Israeli SQL Server and OLAP Users Group and has
been managing it since. Itzik is an MCT, MCDBA, MCSE+I and a SQL Server
MVP.

Dejan Sarka is an
MCSE, MCDBA, MCT, and SQL Server MVP. He is a trainer and consultant working
for many CTECs and development companies in Slovenia and some other nearby
countries. He is a frequent contributor to the PASS news and many local
technical magazines. He is a member of the PASS Technical Advisory Council
and Microsoft SQL Server beta testing program. Besides training he regularly
works on OLTP, OLAP and Data Mining projects, especially at the database
design stage (Dejan worked with Data Mining technologies long before Microsoft
built the first version of SQL Server). He is a regular speaker on regional
Microsoft TechNet meetings, on the NT Conference, the largest Microsoft
conference in Central and Eastern Europe, and some other events, like
MCT and PASS conferences. He is the founder and the manager of the Slovenian
SQL Server Users Group.
