Microsoft .NET Developer Program - MCTS
Program Objective
Microsoft .NET Developer Program supports IT professionals who currently have core or foundation knowledge and want to earn a MCTS certification on .NET Framework 3.5. The purpose of the training is to increase: (1) enrollments in training that results in an employer-recognized IT certification; (2) training retentions and completions; and (3) the number of individuals qualified for, getting, and retaining employment in demand occupations directly related to the training program.
SQLSoft+ Dislocated IT Worker Training
SQLSoft+ Dislocated IT Worker Training offers the following services:
- Assessment of career needs, skills and abilities, program eligibility, and more.
- Career counseling
- Case management and an individualized employment/training plan
- Job readiness training
- Individualized assistance through our job placement program
- Follow up after employment to support career and wage progression
- Pre-employment training with employers who need additional, specialized skills
- Coordination with current employers to identify training that will increase the IT Professional and Professional Developers’ ability to maintain employment or obtain a better job within the organization

Microsoft .NET Developer Program Certifications
SQLSoft+ offers three MCTS certification paths that build on Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) prerequisites and align with job roles that are relevant in the marketplace.
Student Admission Requirements
Candidates for the MCTS certifications are professionals who use Visual Studio 2008 and the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5, or who anticipate working with these technologies in the near future. You should have at least one year of experience using the underlying technologies that are covered in the corresponding exam and experience with a programming language.

Class Days
Class days can range from 6 days to 8 days to prepare for the exam. The assessment will dictate the number of classes that will be required.
Method of Instruction

Training/Instructional Aids and Facilities
Each classroom includes Internet connection and a variety of equipment such as whiteboards, projectors, easels, and other kinds of teaching materials to enhance the training experience. All training will be conducted on equipment that exceeds the requirements established by the course author and includes one computer per participant and one instructor computer with the following minimum specification:
- Dual Processor 2.0 GHz or faster
- 8 GB of memory
- 2 disk drives of 250 GB each or greater
- 17” Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse
- Internet connection

Program Charges:
Because students are assessed to ensure they meet the course prerequisites and they may require a variable number of courses, program charges can range from $990 to $6,435 (before discount) per certificate and include assessment, tuition, registration fee, books, supplies, lab fees, student activity fees, certification test preparation, certification exam, and employment services.
