What are class hours?

Bellevue: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Beaverton: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

Is free parking available?

Parking is available free of charge at all three of our locations. For the Bellevue, WA location, a parking lot is found behind our offices. In Beaverton, OR, the parking lot is in front of the office. We recommend carpooling whenever possible because spaces are limited.

Is there a dress code for class?

Casual dress—jeans or shorts included—is perfectly acceptable.

What should I bring to class?

We provide all you'll need, including note-taking materials.

Are there breaks during the day?

Instructors schedule breaks based on the flow of class material. Generally there are mid morning and mid afternoon coffee breaks, with an hour at lunch.

Are there facilities for lunch?

We have comfortable break rooms in our Bellevue and Beaverton training centers with kitchen facilities, including refrigerators and microwave ovens. There are also a variety of restaurants nearby.

Do you provide refreshments?

We provide a complimentary morning snack, as well as beverages, including coffee, tea, soft drinks and juices throughout the day.

How many students will be attending my class?

The maximum for most classes is 12 students. We do have a few 16-station classrooms for popular classes. Your SQLSoft+ Account Representative can tell you how many students are enrolled when you call.

How many students are there per computer during class?

Each student has his or her own computer in all SQLSoft+ classes except a few that are strictly lecture-based without labs.

Will you guarantee I will pass my exams?

We cannot guarantee that all our students will pass their certification exams, because about half of the effort to pass an exam will depend on a student's dilligence and studies. SQLSoft+ does provide free retakes for 12 months in the case you should fail an exam. Our courses are designed to support certification and will virtually touch on all topics on the applicable exams.

What is your cancellation policy?

Occasionally you may need to cancel or reschedule a course after the booking has been confirmed and we will make every effort to accommodate your new requirements. However, since this involves additional costs for us if you cancel or reschedule less than ten (10) business days prior to the class start date, you will be charged the full amount of the class.

You can then attend the same class on a space-available basis on a future date at no additional charge (as long as we are still offering the same class using the same courseware). To take advantage of this offer, you must contact your Account Manager as soon as possible regarding your situation and make arrangements to pick up the courseware.

Please note that cancellation fees will not be credited to any other courses. SQLSoft+ reserves the right to cancel classes. In the unlikely event that your training course does not take place, we will make every effort to reschedule the course and you will be offered an alternative date to take the course.

What is your audit policy?

Students who attend our courses may take the same unrevised course again at no charge on a space-available basis, anytime within a year provided you bring your course materials with you. Students may choose either in-classroom or Live Distance Learning for their retakes. Call your SQLSoft+ Account Representative to register for your refresher class.

How can I be reached while I am taking a class?

For classes in Bellevue or Beaverton callers may call our receptionist and leave a message. Our Bellevue number is (425) 688-8977; our Beaverton number is (503) 645-2200. For emergencies they will find you in your classroom and deliver the message. Otherwise messages will be posted on a bulletin board outside your classroom.

How many years have you been in business?

SQLSoft was founded in 1988. The company operated as part of Aris Corporation's Education division for four years, and was reformed as SQLSoft+ on May 1, 2000.

What other locations do you have?

We have training offices in Beaverton, Oregon and Bellevue, Washington. SQLSoft+ is also a Sponsor Partner at the MPSC on the Microsoft main campus in Redmond, WA where we also teach classes.

Do you have directions (road and bus) for your locations available?

How many classrooms do you have?

We have eight classrooms in our Bellevue location, five classrooms in our Beaverton location, and Redmond's MPSC facility has three large classrooms. We can also provide private or custom training in temporary locations and at your company.

Are your instructors certified? Do they have real world experience?

All SQLSoft+ instructors are certified in the fields they train. Most instructors also have previous working experience in their field and many also consult for SQLSoft+ customers when they aren't teaching.

Do you provide testing at your facilities?

We have authorized Prometric testing facilities in our Beaverton, Oregon and Bellevue, Washington locations for a number of certifications.
